YWRAP is a mentoring/tutoring program concerned with the needs of young women who are at risk in education, health (mental health), and the welfare of coping with their individual lifestyles. All young women are welcome.
Mission: To help young ladies improve their outlook on life, by setting goals, inspiring each other, and talking about issues and concerns that impact their well being in becoming a "Well rounded young woman of today".
It is our goal to provide the programs, and services that will stimulate and encourage academic growth as well as inspiration in all aspects of their life. Our goals will be to maintain consistency through out the year to make sure the programs we provide are stimulating and aspiring to our yound ladies.
Please come and join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting September 22, 2009 from 5pm-7pm at Suffolk County Community College (Michael J. Grant Campus) 1001 Crooked Hill Road, Brentwood, New York 11717.
